ADK 35 Anniversary Event
ADK Hospital held a grand function at Henveyru Football Ground on 18th March 2022 to celebrate their 35 years in healthcare. In this ceremony, long serving staff, Individual achievement awards, Appreciation award for companies, two special awards and Employee performance awards were awarded. The ceremony was graced by Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem, as the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
A total of 31 staff from 15 years and above were awarded for their long service at ADK Hospital.

In recognition of individual initiative and endeavor in introducing a new service to local healthcare, Dr Ahmed Nishan was awarded for introducing Bariatric Surgery, Dr Ali Niyaf for introducing Neuro-Endovascular Treatments & Dr Mohamed Shafiu for ‘Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
Appreciation award for companies who were with us since the beginning were awarded to ADK Company Pvt. Ltd, Allied Insurance Company, Dhiraagu, Infotech Maldives Pvt. Ltd, Novelty Printers & Publishers Pvt. Ltd & State Trading Organization plc.
During the event, Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Afaal came up on stage to give out a special award to Mr. Ahmed Nashid, for being an Inspirational Leader, and in acknowledgement of continued commitment, care and compassion to the staff, as well as advancement of healthcare in Maldives over the last 35 years. And to Dr. Abdulla Niyaf, in recognition and appreciation of the immense contribution in mitigating the Covid19 pandemic at ADK Hospital and also for the tireless efforts in creating public awareness on the pandemic.
The Employee Performance Award was also held during this event to give away awards to staff of ADK hospital who have performed outstandingly in the year. Cash prize & Tags were changed from this year onwards for the three categories; 5 Silver Performers (awarded with cash prize of MVR 7,500/-, a certificate and silver performance award trophy), 5 Gold Performers (awarded with cash prize of MVR 10,000/-, a certificate and gold performance award trophy) and Employee of the year (awarded with cash prize of MVR 25,000/-, a certificate, sash, bouquet, a 5 nights holiday package for 2 people in Morocco and an Employee of the year trophy)
