GENERAL CODE OF CONDUCT

ADK Hospitals expects it employees to strive for the highest ethical standards of conduct and commitment of their best effort in representing the hospital to the patients, visitors, government bodies, independent commissions and suppliers. The General Code of Conduct along with the Code of Professional Conduct is a guide for all the employees of ADK Hospital of the expectation of the standard of behavior expected by Hospital of its employees.
 

EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCE POLICY

The purpose of this Policy is to provide a mechanism for individual employees to raise a grievance arising from their employment. The Policy will also ensure that such grievances are dealt with promptly, fairly and in accordance with other related Policies of the Organization. This includes concerns from an employee about an action that has been taken and or an in-action, or a contemplated action in relation to them by a supervisor, another employee or from the Management.
 

Professional Standards and Ethics Committee

The Professional Standards and Ethics Committee (PSEC) will be an essential part of embedding ethical values and professional standards throughout the organization. It ensures the adherence to the standards and values stipulated in the organization’s policy document, in particular, the Code of Professional Conduct. It does this by investigating and reviewing complaints related to misconduct and taking disciplinary action where required.
 

CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Patients are entitled to good doctors. Good doctors make the care of patients their first concern; they are competent, keep their knowledge and skills up to date, establish and maintain good relationships with patients and colleagues, are honest and trustworthy and act with integrity.

Work environment of our hospital requires a climate and ambience where staff feels confident, reassuring and safe. The most productive and satisfying work environment is considered to be a place where work is accomplished in a spirit of mutual trust, respect and dignity.

  • Public Holiday Notice - Republic Day

    November 10, 2017 - The Hospital takes this opportunity to bring greetings and best wishes on the ocassion of Republic Day. We wish to inform all customers that Republic Day is observed as a hospital holiday and specilist OPD services will not be available on November 11, 2017. General OPD, emergency services will be available as usal. In case of a real emergency where specialist services are needed, our on call specialists will attend. We wish you happy holidays!

  • Employee Performance Awards 2017

    November 6, 2017 - ADK Hospital celebrated Annual Employee Performance Awards (EPA) at Ghiyasuddin International School. The Employee of the Year 2016 award was won by Nurse, Fathimath Sameera, who received MVR. 15,000 cash prize and 5 day holiday package in London.
