Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the 11th Employee Performance Awards at ADK Hospital
On the 8th of December 2023, ADK Hospital hosted the 11th Employee Performance Awards at Ghiyasuddin International School. This annual event is a testament to the dedication and exceptional contributions of the hospital's staff throughout the year. With the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Mahamood Shougee, Chancellor of Maldives National University, and the Chairman of ADK Group, Mr. Ahmed Nashid, in attendance, the ceremony was a grand celebration of the outstanding achievements within the ADK Hospital family.
Five Silver Performance Awards, each carrying a reward of MVR7,500 along with a plaque and certificate, celebrated the exceptional dedication of individuals. Another set of five Gold Performance Awards, featuring a cash prize of MVR10,000, a plaque, and a certificate, recognized those who surpassed expectations in their roles. At the pinnacle of recognition, Ms. Seema Mohamed, Coordinator – Clinical Support Service of ADK Hospital, was honored as the Employee of The Year. She received a cash prize of MVR15,000, along with a plaque, certificate, sash, bouquet, and an unforgettable 5-night holiday trip for two to experience the wonders of a Wild Life Safari in Kenya.
This year, ADK Hospital proudly celebrated the loyalty and commitment of 23 employees with Long Service Awards. Among them, 14 had dedicated 15 years of service, 4 marked 20 years of commitment, 3 had an impressive 25 years of service, and 2 remarkable individuals reached an incredible 30 years of service.
Managing Director, Mr. Ahmed Afaal, expressed his gratitude for the collective efforts of the ADK team, acknowledging every employee as a winner. He announced a new initiative, awarding those with 100% attendance an extra 5 days of paid leave annually, recognizing the importance of consistent dedication.
Dr. Mahamood Shougee, in his role as Chief Guest, commended ADK Hospital for its unwavering support whenever needed. He acknowledged the hospital's pioneering role as the first private healthcare facility in the Maldives. He also paid tribute to the legacy of Mr. Ahmed Nashid's father, which ADK is named after.
