Clinical meetings

May 2, 2007

It is the interest of the hospital to provide the best care to the clients that we serve. Hence it is required that we not only treat patients, but also continuously learn from what we do. We thus have decided to introduce clinical meetings when professionals can share knowledge of how they have managed difficult cases, discuss major morbidity cases and also assess all mortality that occurs in the hospital. In addition, this would help to continually build team work and spirit in the hospital. These meetings will be an instrument for academic gain and research initiatives.

The arrangements of the meeting are as follows:

Time: Last Sunday of every month - if it falls on a non working day, the following owrking day will be used

Duration: One hour - time slots will be allocated depending on the number of speakers

Moderator:      A senior doctor, on rotation basis will moderate the meetings.

Attendance:     All doctors, nurses and other related professionals are invited depending on available seating.

2.     How the case was managed at Hospital

3.     Advantages and disadvantages of managing the case at the Hospital
