ICN - International Council of Nurses
Every country in the world is affected by the rising tide of chronic disease, and the need for access to appropriate, affordable care for people with chronic conditions. The potential for nurses to contribute to improvement in the health of populations across the world through attention to chronic disease prevention and care has never been greater. ICN has a variety of projects and resources on NCDs. These include the Diabetes and Depression project; the Grow Your Wellness resource centre; the 2010 IND kit on NCDs; a 2011 multinational survey of nurses on the NCD crisis; as well as fact sheets and press releases.
