Biography
Dr. Nasheeda Saeed is a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Neurology and serves as the Head of the Department of Neurology at ADK Hospital. She joined ADK Hospital in December 2018 as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and, through her dedication and clinical leadership, was appointed Head of the Department of Internal Medicine. In recognition of her exceptional service, she was awarded Employee of the Year in 2022.
During her tenure in Internal Medicine, Dr. Nasheeda played a pivotal role in establishing ADK Hospital's dedicated Stroke Team and implementing the hospital's stroke thrombolysis protocol, laying the foundation for modern stroke care pathways that continue to benefit patients today.
In 2022, she commenced advanced subspecialty training in Neurology in Malaysia and Singapore, completing three years of intensive training before returning to ADK Hospital in December 2025 to lead the Neurology Department. Her clinical interests include epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and neurophysiology. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based neurological care while advancing comprehensive neurology services for the people of the Maldives.
