Dr. Dusooma Abdul Razzag

Dr. Dusooma Abdul Razzag is the Chief Surgical Officer and Senior Consultant in Anesthesia at ADK Hospital. She is a highly experienced anaesthesiologist with extensive expertise in perioperative anaesthesia, critical care, pain management, and advanced airway management. She provides anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, with particular experience in managing both paediatric and geriatric patients while ensuring comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.

Dr. Dusooma is one of the pioneers of cardiac anaesthesia in the Maldives and has been providing specialised cardiac anaesthesia services since 2018. She also played a key role in introducing labour analgesia services in the country, helping improve pain management options for mothers during childbirth. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is actively involved in medical education, mentoring nurses, interns, and medical officers. She also contributes to academic research as a journal reviewer and has held leadership positions in several regional anaesthesia and critical care associations.
