Today marks the official naming of the new development that has been developed at the hospital.
This building is named after late Dr. R. Jaya Chidambar Pandian (MBBS, FRCH) whose dedicated services to ADKHospital are embedded from the inception of its medical services.
Dr Pandian was the first and the only doctor at the time when the company started its medical services in a small clinic in 1987 under the name of Mediclinic. He continued to serve this organization for 26 long years until his last days.
Dr R J C Pandian, an Indian national born in Chennai, devoted his life to serving the people of this country as a medical practitioner. He was service as the Medical Director of ADK Hospital when he passed away at this hospital on 7th January 2014, at the age of 56.
'Dr Pandian Wing' is a symbol of his immence contributions to the growth and development of this Hospital and his loyal services the people of this country. It stands as a tribute to the memory of his invaluable services that will be remembered forever.
The building's name was revealed by the immediate family of Dr Pandian, Dr Praveen Pandian (son) and Ms Pandian.
This building consists of 6 floors for admissions. Six wards are hsoted in this building, each bed providing added comfort and improved services. These wards will set a new standard for general ward admission services in the country.
In addition to this, the second floor is dedicated to health check ups and medical screening services. The ground and first floors will host the restaurant, Food Corner, that will serve the inpatients, outpatients and also the general public.
Services from Ward 6 and 7 was initiated on 1 January 2018 and out patient services for medical check ups and screening initiated today.
The remaining wards and other facilites in the building wil be gradually initated in the coming weeks. It is our aim to provide the best of services to our patients and other customers who seek our services. We will continue to improve our services to enhance the patient experience and care that we provide.
