Neurology and Psychiatry Services

ADK Hospital has recently initiated services in Neurology and Psychiatry. These two specialties have not been readily available in the country and whenever it was available had a number of limitations. In an effort to provide these services, for which there is a dire need, the Hospital in the last few months have worked extensively to recruit suitable professionals to serve the Maldivian population in these areas.

General consultations are now available at the Hospital for both the specialties and the utilisation of these services are gradually increasing. Although highly shophisticated and complex procedures are yet not available at the hospital, the initiation of these services and the signs of its utilisation at the ealry stages are promising for further investment and development. The hospital will continue to develop and provide services that are most needed by the people of Maldives.
