ADK Hospital signs a technical services MOU with Thonburi Hospital, Thailand

ADK Hospital and Thonburi Hospital, Thailand has signed a Technical Services Agreement on June 1, 2013 during the state visit of the Thai Prime Minister H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra. This Agreement will pave way for the development of human resources, including the exchange of personnel for training and service purposes between the two Hospitals.
The purpose of this MOU is to build the strategic collaboration in sharing of hospital management experiences and expertise, exchange of medical staff, (doctors, nurses, technicians) and the exchange of best practices between the two parties.
The MOU was signed in the presence of H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra, the Primi Minister of Thailand and H.E. Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan, the President of Maldives. On behalf of Thonburi Hospital, the Assistant to the Cairman of the Board of Thonburi Hospital Group, Mr. Timothy Lersmitivanta and on behalf of ADK Group of Companies, the Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ahmed Nashid signed the MOU.
With this initial agreement, more excahnges will be made between the two Hospitals in the near future and it is hoped that this partnership will help further improve care and services at ADK Hospital this benefiting the Maldivian public.
