Cardiac Clinic

ADK Hospital will start a Cardiac Clinic on Sunday, March 10, 2013. This Clinic is initiated in effort to continuously improve our services and also to bring quality care within the reach of Maldivians. We are happy to announce that two super specialists, both Maldivians, will serve in this Clinic.

This Clinic apart from OPD services will provide other services such as echocardiography, holter monitoring and stress tests. Also, further development of the Clinic in to a full fledged cardiac department is planned.

The two super specialists providing servies in this Cardiac Clinic specialise in the area of Cardiology and Cardio thoracic surgery. The two consultants are

 

Dr. Ali Shafeeq, MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Cardiology)

Consultant Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine

 

Dr. Mohamed Shafiu, MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCH (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery)

Consultant in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery

 

The consultation fee for the superspecialists are MVR400.00.
