Dr. Ranjan Sapkota

Dr Ranjan's passion for the surgery of the chest is rooted in his rigorous basic surgical training from one of the best surgical training programs in the region. It has been continuously enriched by his constant quest for excellence, earning him a prestigious Rowan Nicks Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. His primary interests are surgery on the lungs, including VATS, peripheral vascular surgeries, and adult cardiac surgery. Together with Dr Shafiu, the first native heart surgeon, he has been instrumental in establishingthe first active and all-round cardiothoracic and vascular surgery program in the country.
Dr Ranjan also maintains an active clinical practice of breast and thyroid surgery.
